The Science behind

Discover Cellureon's Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MCS's)

Advanced Regenerative Biotechnology

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), are multipotent stromal cells found within bone marrow, adipose tissue, umbilical cord blood… but can also be seen all around the body.
The primary function of MSCs is to respond to injury and infection by secreting and recruiting a range of biological factors, as well as modulating inflammatory processes to facilitate tissue repair and regeneration.

How Cellureon Works

Inflammatory diseases often begin when T-lymphocytes release pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α. These signals recruit monocytes, which differentiate into M1 phenotype macrophages at the site of injury or dysfunction. Once activated, these macrophages amplify the inflammatory response, creating a damaging feedback loop that can lead to chronic tissue injury.

CELLUREON MSCs interrupt this cycle by downregulating T-cell activation, which in turn reduces the secretion of inflammatory cytokines. This cascade effect limits further immune cell recruitment and helps restore immune balance — promoting tissue repair and reducing inflammation at its source.

CELLUREON is our proprietary platform of post-partum, ethically sourced Wharton’s Jelly MSCs, developed through advanced isolation and expansion methods that preserve the cells’ youthful phenotype, stability, and therapeutic potency.

Compared to bone marrow or adipose-derived MSCs, CELLUREON cells demonstrate a superior immunomodulatory profile and enhanced regenerative capacity — making them a powerful tool in the treatment of inflammation-driven and degenerative conditions.
